3 basic types of film
1)NARRATIVE
*Fictional cinema which tells a story
*Most common form of cinema includes genres from action, horror, drama, suspense, childrens, crime, etc...
2)DOCUMENTARY
*Records actual events as they occur
*Typically not reenacted by actors
*Includes recording live events like sports games, olympics, speeches, and news
3)ABSOLUTE
*Records movement or form
*Does not tell a story and has no commercial intent
*Meant only as artist experience
EDITING
Film which is cut, spliced, removed and moved around to enhance the story that is trying to be told

CAMERA VIEWPOINT
Movement of the camera to enhance the emotions in the movie
